OFFICIAL LETTER NO. 2578/BHXH-CSXH DATED 14 JULY 2015 OF VIET NAM SOCIAL INSURANCE ABOUT PREVENTING FRAUD FROM MATERNITY
According to official letter 2578/BHXH-CSXH, fraud from maternity with a sophisticated action. To prevent fraud from maternity, Vietnam social insurance requires provincial social insurance to conduct inspection, examination, inter-examination. Noted as follows:

Whether enterprises register to pay social insurance or not

Enterprises register extraordinarily such as increase in female employees (including registration of reasonable amounts); report to reduce employees when paying compulsory social insurance from more 6 months to show closing balance

Examine the authorization cases to submit files, receive maternity benefits

If detecting to register to pay compulsory social insurance but actually do not work, not pay salary, wage at the enterprises, they will not be settled maternity benefits.
